About Me
Melissa Druskis, MS, BCBA, is the driving force behind Behavior/Brain Magazine. With a rich background in behavior analysis, she has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) since 2015, working in various settings including homes, clinics, and consulting for ABA companies. Melissa is also the owner of ABC Behavior Training and uses her expertise to offer trainings, resources, and mentorship to BCBAs and BCBA trainees.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology and audiology and worked as an SLP-Assistant for six years. Melissa also earned a master’s degree in Cognition and Neuroscience, conducting research on working memory and neuroplasticity. Currently, she is pursuing a second master’s degree in Social Work with the goal of becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and has graduate-level training in trauma-informed coaching.
Melissa has written multiple books for behavior analysts, including the Behavior Analysts Supervision Curriculum, the Behavior Analyst Professional Planner, and the P-ABC, the only parent assessment in ABA. She has also taught graduate students in ABA for the Florida Institute of Technology and provides training and workshops in behavior analytic concepts.
